333 George is a future focused workplace with sustainable features including abundant natural light and high efficiency water saving fittings. The building is targeting a 5-Star  NABERS Energy rating and a 5 Star Green Star – As Built v3 Rating.

And has achieved  a 5 Star Green Star – Design v3 rating.

Energy Efficiency

  • Smart metering and monitoring of energy and water use
  • Trialling new IEQ technology

Water Efficiency

  • A 155kL water storage tank, providing the primary source of water for the building
  • Rainwater and stormwater is collected and drained into the 30kL harvesting tanks to flush toilets and as non-potable water hose taps

Design

The building's unique design interacts with the city environment and seamlessly merges indoor and outdoor spaces.

Maximisation of Light

  • Floor to ceiling glass promoting maximum daylight and views of cityscape and Martin Place, while controlling glare and heat

Facade and blinds

  • High-tech, sustainable double glazed closed cavity facade system with interstital operable blinds
  • Motorised interstitial blinds to operate throughout the days depending on sunlight and glare
  • Designed to reduce solar heat gain while maintaining optimal lighting levels and views
  • Unique curved glass facade

Our Community Project

As part of the 333 George Street Project, Charter Hall and our builder Watpac, partnered with the Ronald McDonald House, Randwick during the course of the development.

The Partnership and support provided jointly raised $79,522 for the constructions and refurbishment of an outdoor common area, toy room and playground for children and families who use the house. The project team also volunteered their time towards preparing meals for up to 70 residents at a time of Ronald McDonald House.
